Another huge thanks to everyone for another successful fundraiser.  The Fall Car Wash went great.  Thanks to all the kids for working hard, to all the parents that helped keep things runnings smoothly, and for everyone that brought their car by or got the word out.  This is such an amazing community.

Here's what I have for you all this week:

• Yearbook Note - Yearbooks are discounted until Oct 31 - make sure to order yours soon to take advantage of the discount

• Mattress Sale - Our annual mattress sale is on Sunday!  If you know anyone who needs a mattress, be sure to spread the word (see the Mattress Sale page)

• Volunteer Opportunities - all our current volunteer opportunities will be listed here throughout the season - still plenty of open slots for spiritwear help, hydration, and the car wash

• And a word from Mr. Sayre - always make time to read through this section

This week in band...

Tuesday 9/2

• 4:00 PM - 6:00 PM - Tuesday Rehearsal - Make sure you have a large water bottle - filled with water!

Wednesday 9/3

• 4:00 PM - 6:00 PM - Color Guard Class

Thursday 9/4

• 4:00 PM - 6:00 PM - Percussion Class

Friday 9/5

• Football Game vs. Cibola (Away) @ Community Stadium - Report Time: 4:45 PM in the band room

Yearbooks

Order your 2025-2026 Band Yearbook!  Tree Ring is currently offering an early bird sale with 10% off book orders until October 31st. Yearbooks are $24.54 with 90 full color pages. To order a yearbook visit www.TreeRing.com and enter passcode: 1016667234694117

Mattress Sale

Our annual mattress sale is coming this next Sunday.  Make sure you are getting the word out.  Talk to coworkers, family, and friends, and just let them know the sale is happening - that's it!

The sale will be in the Eldorado Cafeteria on September 7th, from 10AM - 4PM.  All the details are on our Mattress Sale page.

So, talk to your community, share the Facebook event (here is the link: https://www.facebook.com/events/1839451783268477/), and help the band program raise funds!

a word from Mr. Sayre...

Hello, Eagle Band Community!

Huge congratulations to the band for putting together a fantastic car wash on Saturday! We brought in a record amount this year. A big thank you goes to our parents who volunteered their time and energy to keep students fed, hydrated, and protected from the sun—we couldn’t have done it without you.

This Week

Afterschool Rehearsals

• Normal schedule this week: Tuesday (Full Band), Wednesday (Color Guard Class), and Thursday (Percussion Class).

Friday, September 5 – Football Game

• Away game at Community Stadium (west side).

• Call time: 4:45 PM in the band room.

• Reminder: APS Clear Bag Policy is in effect. If you bring a bag, purse, or backpack, it must be clear.

Sunday, September 7 – Mattress Sale Fundraiser

• Help spread the word—this is a big fundraiser for the program!

• Students can earn extra credit by attending and helping at the sale.

• Invite friends, family, and neighbors to come check out the great deals.

Band Class Fees

• The $25 class fee can now be paid online through THIS LINK to SchoolPay.  Pay as soon as you can and please communicate with Mr. Sayre if you are unable to pay.  

• These funds go directly into the band activity account and support some transportation and other essential program needs.
