Boosters

The Eldorado Band Boosters is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization made up of the parents and guardians of the students in the Golden Eagle Marching Band.  You are a parent or guardian, you are automatically a Band Booster!  This is Your Organization and your help and involvement is what makes our band one of the strongest and most successful in the state of New Mexico.  

The Eldorado Band Booster Mission is to promote and support the musical education and program goals of our students and their directors throughout the band year by providing volunteer support for events and activities, financial support through fundraising and financial management and logistical support to ensure the success of our band’s events.  We support our entire band; Marching Band, Color Guard and Winter Guard, three Concert Bands, and three Jazz Ensembles.  Our annual budget is built around these programs to cover the costs of our marching show, competitions, transportation, food, equipment purchase, instrument repair as well as clinicians, and college and special event scholarships.

The Eldorado Band Booster Executive Board is the official decision-making body of the Boosters. Executive Officers include: President, Vice President, Secretary, Treasurer, Fundraising, and Uniform Committee Chair. The Board is responsible for an annual operating budget in excess of $250,000. Open monthly meetings are held on typically the second Wednesday of the month, when needed. Any parent or guardian of a band member is welcome and encouraged to attend.

Your involvement as a Band Booster is critical to the success of our students' band experience!  The most important thing you can do is to volunteer your time and talents to the band and booster activities. There are many opportunities. Whether you have just a little time, or a lot; have a skill or not; all that’s required is the desire to support our kids. Best of all, you will be involved in your student’s life and the futures of many young musicians. That’s an investment worth making.
