We have a busy couple of weeks ahead with MPA and Winter Guard Invitational. Lots to do - Mr. Sayre outlines much of it below.
As for the boosters - we are entering our final 2 weeks to pay down student accounts. Please do so ASAP. And I have a yearbook reminder from our yearbook chair.

Yearbooks - There is still time to order your yearbook to have it by band banquet. Also - SENIOR pages are coming due.
Student Accounts - We are a just 2 weeks out from the deadline to pay off student accounts. Please make sure you get those accounts to $0 soon.

Don't forget to order your 2025-2026 Band Yearbook! Yearbooks are $24.54 with 90 full color pages. In order to receive your yearbook at the May 9th band banquet, please order NO LATER than April 12th.

Hello Eagle Band Community!
A big shout-out to Wind Symphony, Screamin’ Eagles Jazz Band, and Everlasting Winterguard for a fantastic showing at the Fine Arts Assembly. Performing at that level right after a full Jazz Festival weekend says a lot about your preparation and professionalism. Well done.

Concert Band MPA – Wednesday, March 4
Student leaders and officers will meet Monday at lunch to plan for the upcoming events.
Pre-Festival Concert:
Wednesday, February 25
Call time for all Eldorado Band students is 5:00 PM in the PAC. Student leaders and officers will help with setup after school.

Winter Guard Invitational
Saturday, February 28
Student leaders and officers will take the lead on running the event alongside Mr. Snowden. Worker sign-ups will be posted Monday after lunch on the whiteboard in the band room.
Shifts begin at 11:45 AM in the band room for setup and continue through cleanup. The event runs until approximately 8:00 PM.
We need student volunteers for:

Warm-up area
Storage area
Main gym
Judge runners
Announcers
Music Performance Assessment (MPA)
Wednesday, March 4 at Manzano High School
The bus will depart from the band room before 2:30 PM. Students will have the opportunity to listen to several bands before we perform.
Schedule:
Concert Band – Warm-up 4:30, Performance 5:00, Sight Reading 5:30
Symphonic Band – Warm-up 6:00, Performance 6:30, Sight Reading 7:00
Wind Symphony – Warm-up 6:30, Performance 7:00, Sight Reading 7:30
Food at MPA:
All Symphonic Band and Wind Symphony students will eat before the Symphonic Band performance. Concert Band students who are also in Symphonic Band will eat after the Symphonic Band performance.
