I hope everyone is enjoying this season - both in the band season, and this lovely fall weather we have been having.
Make sure you don't forget our Il Vicino night tomorrow - get some lunch or dinner and support the band at the same time!
This week starts District Honor Band - congrats to all our honor band students. I know you will represent our program well this coming weekend. Looking forward to hearing your concerts on Sunday.
Once again, it's a slow week, and I don't have much for you. Take this time to enjoy the upcoming Thanksgiving season.

Tomorrow, 11/18 is our Il Vicino restaurant night. It is all day - lunch and dinner - at the Montgomery location. See the Restaurant Nights page for the details and the flyer. Bring the flyer in to get 20% to our band program. This is usually one of our more successful local business partnerships, so plan on supporting Il Vicino AND our band program tomorrow!
Just a friendly reminder to stay on top of your student account balances in Cut Time. Making regular small payments makes the fees much more manageable. Remember that if you can't afford the convenience fees that Cut Time charges, you can pay by check or money order using the Payment Method instructions on the Financials page, just remember that it can take a few weeks to get those payments credited to your student accounts as this is an entirely manual process. If you have any questions, please let us know.
The 2024-2025 Band Yearbooks are currently for sale!
Yearbooks are 90 pages of full color photos from the entire band year. Books can be ordered online for $24.54 plus tax & free shipping. Deadline to order a yearbook is April 14th. Books will be handed out at the May 10th Band Banquet.
To order a yearbook visit: https://www.treering.com AND enter passcode: 1016667234694117
Email yearbooks@eldorado.band with any questions. That is also the address you can send your band photos.
There are no current active signups available. Enjoy the break - thanks for all you do!
Have a great week!

Greetings Eagle Band!
We are in the last push of the Fall semester. We have concerts on December 10th and 12th. Preparation is well underway. What parents and guardians can do to help our performance go even better is make sure your children are bringing their instrument home to practice and being as prepared as possible for class. Here are some other reminders for the week:
Concert Band Uniforms - are ALL black. We are no longer using the tuxedos provided by the band. If you haven’t done so you should start making sure you have the uniform soon. You can wear the marching shoes and socks. Here is a reminder of what is in the band handbook:
“The Concert Season uniform will be student-supplied. It will consist of:
Black pants
Long black socks
Black shoes
Long or short sleeve black shirt (no tank tops or spaghetti straps) that cover the midriff
Clothing should allow for ease of performing your instruments on stage and should be modest”
The Honor Band performance - will be on Sunday November 24th at La Cueva High School. Underclassmen will perform at 2:30 PM and Upperclassmen at 3:30 PM.
Concerns or questions - about what is happening in the program and why? We, the directors, welcome your questions or concerns. We only ask that you reach out and find a time to speak with us about your concerns. Often problems arise when there is a simple misunderstanding of what and why we are doing something in the band program. It is a big program with a lot of pieces to put together and we hope that if an issue arises where you might question why our program is being run the way that it is, that you give us the opportunity to talk to you first. We appreciate you supporting this.
Here is the plan for the week. This is a live document and updates may happen.
Go Eagles!
Mr. Sayre
