Hello Eagle Band!
We’re in the final stretch of the school year! As we wrap up, we’re also setting the stage for an exciting start to next year. This week we welcome our incoming students at our Percussion and Color Guard Nights—a great chance to introduce them to the program and get everyone energized for what’s ahead.
This Week:
Tuesday, May 20 & Thursday, May 22 – Color Guard & Percussion Nights: Incoming students join us for an evening of training and connection.
Thursday, May 22 – Graduation: This is a required performance. We will travel by bus from EHS after school. Dress in all black—this is a formal performance.
After graduation, we’ll be shifting gears into clean-up mode. We’ll:
Organize and inventory the band room
Make sure our final assignments, including excerpts from the All-State Etudes (posted in Google Classroom) are turned in.
Collect school instruments during the last week of school—students who wish to keep instruments for summer practice may check them out again
Final Exams Reminder:
Band students: Concert All-State Etude excerpts
Color Guard: Choreography video submission
Let’s finish strong, Eagles!
TL;DR:
May 20 & 22 – Percussion/Color Guard Nights (incoming students join)
May 22 – Graduation (required, dress all black, ride bus)
After graduation – Clean-up, finals, and instrument return/re-checkout
Finals due: All-State excerpts (band), choreography videos (guard)
